Can PET Plastic Jar shipped to Overseas?

Dear Apple, As spoken on Tuesday, can you help to check can the PET plastic container/ jar to be shipped to overseas as we are concerned would the plastic Jar crush / distort in shape due to the pressure in air plane? Attached with the product picture for your kind perusal. Regards SL

If you're concerned about the condition of the item, you do not have to worry as the pressure in the airplane will not crush/distort the jar. And if you are still concerned about that happening, you could wrap the lid and the jar separately. The only thing that could crush/distort the jar is if it is crushed by something heavy. To possibly protect it and lower the chances of it being distorted, would be to wrap it really well. There is also a possibility of customs and immigration asking to provide additional documents to certify that the product is safe to store food in or for any other usage.

Hi Sephine,

1. You can wrap the plastic jar in layers of bubble wrap or custom make a polystyrene packaging as shown in the image below.

2. There is still a possibility of customs asking for certificate even if you're using FBM. It depends on whether your package gets chosen for inspection or not.
